Arántzazu González, researcher from the ICMAB-CSIC, went on 11 February to a Primary School (Can Maiol) to talk to the students and visibilize women scientists, within the initative “Nuestras científicas: Jornada de investigadoras actuales y futuras” of the CSIC-Catalunya. The initiative appeared on the TVE1 news programme “L’informatiu” at 2 pm on 11 February 2019. Look at it here, from minute 16:04!

Arántzazu González, Ramon y Cajal researcher at ICMAB and participant of the program “A Researcher in your classroom” was at two primary schools in November, in the framework of the “Science Week” to show the students what is a scientist and what type of research we do at the ICMAB.

On Friday, 16 March 2018, the secondary school INS Mercè Rodoreda (Hospitalet de Llobregat) celebrated their “IV Scientific Day” (IV Jornada Científica) with scientific activities for their students, from 1st ESO to 2nd BTX. Núria Aliaga, ICREA Research Professor at ICMAB, was one of the invited speakers. She had the big challenge of talking about science to “Arts and Humanities” 3rd and 4th ESO students.
