ICMAB hosted its first International Summer School on Materials for Biomedical Application (MATBIO2017) with four days full of lectures and hands-on activities, and with over 45 students of 21 different institutions and more than 8 different countries.
The work “Functional supramolecular tetrathiafulvalene-based films with mixed valences states” has been published in Polymer. In this paper tetrathiafulvalene molecules substituted with a carboxylic acid group (TTFCOOH) were bound as redox-active moieties into a poly(4-vinyl pyridine) (P4VP) skeleton through non-covalent interactions (hydrogen bonds).
The New Materials in Your Classroom Project has been awarded with the first prize of the Reach.Out! Competition Award from the E-MRS Spring 2014.
We received the award on behalf of whole team involving more than 20 researchers from the Materials Science Institute of Barcelona.
